How to Install the New Cydia

A new Cydia was released for compatibility on iOS 4.2 a little while ago. There is no review system or any of those often-requested features, but it is faster, more reliable, and better in almost every way. It also has a new icon, removing the icon shadow from the old one, giving it a better, more professional look. Keep in mind that users jailbroken on iOS 4.2.x already have this improved Cydia. For jailbroken devices running iOS 4.0 or 4.1, follow the simple steps below to get it.

Step 1:
Open up Cydia, go to Manage>Sources>Edit>Add and add repo.ig33kstas.com then tap Add Source

Step 2:
Go to Changes, and you'll see an upgrade available. Tap Upgrade in the top-right corner and Confirm, and you have the new Cydia once you reboot.

That was simple, right? Well I hope you enjoy this new Cydia. Happy jailbreaking.
